MICHELLE SAWYER, LME
Master Aesthetician
CoMING FULL CIRCLE…
Michelle Sawyer was inspired to become a Licensed Master Aesthetician when she saw how good people felt in their skin when their skin was looking its best.
Sawyer was working in a clerical position with Kirkland Laser (later renamed Strother Dermatology) in 2003 when she realized she wanted to be a bigger part of those transformations.
“When I would greet clients coming into the office, they were wanting help with their skin — this is where my passion began,” she said. “I decided to go to aesthetics school so I could help individuals feel better and more confident. I can say I have now come full-circle.”
Sawyer is excited to bring her skills and positive energy to Strother Dermatology, where she performs a combination of hair removal, tissue tightening, body contouring, and skin rejuvenation.
When she’s not working, the Northwest native who grew up in Ballard enjoys spending time traveling and recently picked up golfing. She loves surrounding herself with family and friends and often can be found trying new recipes in the kitchen. She has been married to her firefighter husband for more than 27 years and they have a 24-year-old daughter who lives abroad. Their German Shepherd, Bree, is very active and loves playing fetch.
If she could choose one word to describe herself it would be: trustworthy. And when you are looking for someone to care for you — both personally and professionally — trust is an important attribute. Building relationships with her clients through their journeys is one of her favorite parts of the process.
“You develop bonds with your clients,” she said. “I love when they are happy with their progress and transformations. It’s emotionally rewarding.”
