FROM PATIENT TO EXPERT…
Toni Lind Baker has been working in her dream career field of aesthetics for more than two decades. So, she was thrilled when she joined Strother Dermatology team as their Aesthetic Business Manager and Patient Care Consultant. After all, she has been a patient for the past 15 years.
In her new role, she will meet clients for aesthetic consultations, help grow the Strother Dermatology social media brand, and more.
“Skincare and treatments are often a deeply personal choice and an investment that can produce life-changing, confidence-boosting results and bring so much joy and satisfaction to a patient,” Baker said. “Getting to help transform and positively impact our patients is both incredibly fulfilling and rewarding.”
Baker grew up in the small town of Arlington and enjoys the outdoors, trying new restaurants, and exploring sleepy coastal towns with her spouse, her 3-year-old son, and their French bulldog. She has a passion for animal rescue, philanthropy, and all the salsa. “I literally put it on everything,” she said.
One of her favorite quotes from well-known mental health-conditioning expert and author Justin Su’s is fitting for a gal so smitten with aesthetics and life: “You’re never too good to get better.”
The quote also is reflective of who she is at her core — a “people-loving, curious, outgoing, and competitive” person. She used to compete in snowboarding, and when she was 16, traveled to Europe with a U.S. soccer team.
She feels honored to join the Strother Dermatology team, which she has trusted with her own care for more than a decade. Talk about full circle.
“This job is a dream and the perfect evolution of the skills and expertise I’ve amassed over my career,” she said.
